To Yurman or not to Yurman?

David Yurman has created on of the most distinctive silver jewelry lines , with his mix of signature braids and use of stones, Yurmam has become staple brand like the Tiffany box. Once a upon a time Yurman was geared more to more woman, having a only a few men's pieces, and a few pieces I would deem as unisex. I received my 1st Yurman bracelet as a gift a few years ago, and now like most people I.m hooked. Its a brand that you can wear multiple pieces of, to create your own look. Now in 2010, the men's line has grown tremendously to include rings, bracelets, necklaces, watches, and even eye wear. I once noticed one my favorite accessorizing Hip-Hop stars wearing a Yurman bracelet will we working on a TV set. It was to surprise the Big Boi of Outkast, who has made the argyle sock one his trademarks, would venture over to Yurman, and even take a step further and Host is Kids Foundation fundraiser in there store.

Leica iphone concept..hope this happens

There are already several different solutions to turn your iPhone into a Leica look-alike (see here, here and here). BlackDA went a step further and created a Leica i9 concept that features a rangefinder styled housing that can be attached to an iPhone via a 30-pin connector giving full access to all of the phone functionality. If this product ever materializes, the estimated cost will be between $900-$1200.

My 1st Car was a 320i, this is a 328 homage...

Dubbed the BMW 328 Hommage, this ultra-lightweight sports car was built to mirror the principles used to create the original 328. The 328 Hommage weighs in at a svelte 1,720 pounds, accomplished through the use of carbon fiber-reinforced plastic. While CFRP wasn't exactly around in the 30's and 40's, BMW engineers of that era kept the 328 light through the use of aluminum and magnesium. Both cars are cut from a similar cloth to achieve a lightweight end result, even if the methods to get there are very different.

Many design elements are shared between both cars. The original 328 was one of the earliest BMW vehicles to show off the now familiar kidney grilles. Those grilles nearly jump off the face of the 328 Hommage. Out back, the wide-set taillamps help close off the wide stance that runs the length of both versions.

BMW casually mentions that the 328 Hommage is powered by a 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine. Yet, we have no word on any potential output figures or what type of transmission it might be connected to. Of course,
BMW fans might remember that the automaker built a similar concept a few years ago. It was called the Mille Miglia Concept Coupe. Stunning at the time, the 328 Hommage ups the wow factor several notches. Dive into the gorgeous photos in the gallery below, and click past the jump for the full press release.

White man like big titty….

My buddy teck from the real world 1st season made a song called " white man like big titty" , but does he? Women of color have always been noted to be more voluptuous in the posterior. But leave to a Black doctor to come up with a procedure to add more butt to white women, calling it the "Brazilian Lift". I guess from a marketing standpoint this was better than budunkadunk. But of course, now sistas have to go one step further and add more ass to ass. How much ass to one need? the link below is just an example of point.

The Cartier ID Watch

While some strange watch concepts are created without the likelihood of seeing production, there are others that stand as complete, accessible works of cutting edge watchery.  The Cartier iD One Watch Concept is clearly amongst the latter, as this timepiece captures the elegance of the Cartier watch brand while pushing the envelope of design sensibility.  This watch concept is a new step forward for Cartier, as this watch concept does not require any adjustments, it stays true to the time as its mechanics use new materials and technologies never before available to watch craftsmen in the past.

The 2013 Jeep Truck, a keeper!

The 2013 Gladiator will most likely be a cross between the 2005 concept and the Nukizer M715. It will be powered by the new 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6, 280 horsepower (209 kW) at 6,400 rpm and 260 lb.-ft. (353 Nm) of torque at 4,800 rpm, that sits under the hood of the 2011 Grand Cherokee, and will power all Jeep Wrangler in 2012. The bed will be shortened to 5ft too add two more feet to the passenger compartment, but will use a tailgate extender (like the Ford Explorer Sport) to accommodate larger objects.

ASICS X – GT-II “ULTRA MARINE”

New York Winter Night

My night started at the Madame X bar on Houston , I recommend getting there early , the DJ play's great old school/new school hip hop, and the drinks are 5 dollars before 9. My favorite was the pussy galore , no pun intended. I ended up at Suzy Wong's in the basement, and went to another lounge I cannot recall, where I took this picture with 2 random girls…..before taking a reluctant cab back to Brooklyn.

Land Rover will celebrate its 60th anniversary with a new special edition of the iconic Defender – the SVX. The world’s first SVX has been donated by Land Rover UK to the British Red Cross to auction at the ball. “The Red Cross association with Land Rover goes back to 1954, when Land Rover supplied a vehicle to the British Red Cross for use in Dubai as a mobile dispensary,” said James Johnstone, chairman for the British Red...

The Bentley Ghost

Imagine taking the sunday drive in the new Ghost . Rolls-Royce has announced at the Shanghai auto show that its new Bentley Continental–fighting sedan, which was previewed by the 200EX concept at the 2009 Geneva auto show and has been known only as the RR4, will be called the Ghost. Production will commence later this year at the company’s Goodwood plant in the U.K., and European deliveries will begin shortly after. Sales in the U.S. and Asia will wait until the second quarter of 2010. Base price for the Ghost here will be $245,000, plus taxes and delivery.

Rolls also announced final specifications for the new car. The 6.6-liter turbocharged V-12 will pump out 563 hp and 575 lb-ft of torque and will mate to a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission. Zero to 60 mph is said to take 4.8 seconds, and the top speed will be governed at 155 mph. Likely to be shown in production trim at the Frankfurt auto show in September, the 2010 Ghost will slot below the current Phantom range and gives Rolls-Royce a more attainable model to compete against the Bentley Continental Flying Spur, as well as the upcoming 2010 Aston Martin Rapide. At 212.6 inches long—with a 129.7-inch wheelbase—76.7 inches wide, and 61 inches tall, the new Rolls is slightly longer and taller than the Bentley, but a smidge narrower. The Continental lineup also includes GT coupe and GTC convertible versions, and we expect two-door and droptop iterations of the Ghost to launch after the sedan.

Saturday

2011 Ducati Monster

From its stripped-down styling and tubular trellis frame to its exposed L-twin engine and large dual exhaust cans, the Monster 796's road presence is all about elemental simplicity. Those raw visual cues recall an era when you could see through motorcycles, and they're backed up with simple mechanical underpinnings such as an air-cooled engine that incorporates the same desmodromic valve setup that Ducati has used for decades.

The fuel-injected 803-cc engine produces 87 hp at 8250 rpm and 58 lb-ft of torque at 6250 rpm, which is relatively tame compared to all-out, liquid-cooled superbikes. However, considering the Monster 796 weighs only 369 pounds dry, or 373 pounds when equipped with the optional ABS system ($1000), those figures yield a class-leading power-to-weight ratio. Exhaust from the engine routes through a 2-1-2 setup using an updated heat-shield design, and the powerplant pairs to a six-speed gearbox through a hydraulically actuated, APTC-style slipper clutch. With its revised flywheel and engine castings, the 796's powerplant is actually lighter than the 696's (incidentally, maintenance costs have been reduced thanks to a 7500-mile service interval). Fuel economy is estimated at 42 miles per gallon (combined city/highway).

A great piece for the coffee table

What is allure? Who had or has allure? Every era has chosen its own models. Who are they? How did they differentiate themselves? How did they style their lives? The Allure Of Women highlights our most well-known icons, women recognized all over the world, for their style and elegance. Francois Baudot also invites you to discover lesser-known women of allure, envied and copied by people within their own world. Chic, natural and elegant, women are captured in lavish photographs and compelling text, making The Allure Of Women impossible to put down.

One of France's leading fashion and style specialists, Francois Baudot is a writer and an editorial adviser for Elle and Elle Decor. He is the author of a number of books devoted to fashion and decorative arts, including in Assouline: Compendium of Interior Style (2005), The Allure of Women (2001) and, in the Fashion Memoire Series Chanel, Chanel Jewelry, Fashion & Surrealism, Fashion Dogs, Jean-Michel Frank, Eileen Gray, Gruau and Yohji Yamamoto.

Jaeger-LeCoultre unlocks the Aston Martin DB9 with new AMVOX2 Transponder

Getting into your car is getting slicker all the time. Remember when you used to have to physically put your key in the door to get inside? Most undignified. Keyless entry remotes were followed by automatic proximity transmitters that unlock the doors for you when you walk up to the car. But even that requires a superfluous keychain dongle. Swiss watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre has the answer, but only if you happen to drive an Aston Martin. And have nearly $25k to spare.
