Tim Little of Grenson

Now that we’re firmly in mid season, we thought we’d look at some new collections. Part of Grenson owner Tim Little’s own line, these shoes are kind cool. Made in Napoli, they’re the kind of shoes that’ll only get more handsome as time goes by. And they’re handmade, if you like that sort of thing.

Introducing...Cherchbi

Inspired by Britain's creative and cultural heritage, Cherchbi craft modern designs that showcase a robust, traditional quality and feel inherently British. It is the combination of natural materials including, of course the waterproof Herdwyck No. 10 tweed, British saddle leather, brass hardware and one hundred per cent cotton lining, that really gets me excitement. These will all age together harmoniously with use and I for one, am looking forward to testing them out.

Assouline and the Council of Fashion Designers of America present American Fashion Menswear, the most authoritative and exciting book to date on the evolution of American men's style over the past century. From the outset, America was settled by individualists and adventurers who severed ties with the old world to find their destiny in an unknown land, a separation that opened the way for change in a less stratified society. To survive the challenges of a new environment, the American man needed garments that were functional and well-designed, qualities that continue to endure at the very heart of American menswear. From Levi Strauss to the Ivy League, Frank Sinatra to Kanye West, cowboys to counterculture, American Fashion Menswear celebrates the quintessentially American themes that are emulated throughout the world of fashion, as well as the designers and style icons who have made lasting contributions to the way men dress. Foreword by Ralph Lauren.

Robert E. Bryan is a fashion journalist and historian living and working in New York City. Previously he was the men's fashion director of The New York Times Magazine, the men's editor at W, the fashion editor of Men's Wear magazine, and an editor at DNR. He has appeared twice on the International Best Dressed List.

This hardcover book measures 9 1/4 inches by 11 3/4 inches. Published September 1, 2009.

Olympus PEN EP-3

Micro Four-Thirds cameras have long promised to bridge the quality of DSLRs with the size of point and shoots. The Olympus PEN EP-3 is the fullest realization of the Micro Four-Thirds dream so far, even if it's not quiiiiiiite perfect.
The EP-3 could very well be the first camera that will satisfy the desires of the weekend photo hobbyist. The person who knows the difference between a zoom and a macro lens. Knows how to adjust ISO, exposure, and shutter speed accordingly. Is curious about HD DSLR video. Basically, they want to take relatively straight forward photos that look great and don't need the power of a full-bore DSLR. The EP-3 is for this person.

The folks at Vane have had an ongoing partnership with Sebago for quite sometime now. They’ve collaborated primarily on footwear but the duo have been known to go well beyond that as well. The shop will house more than just Vane and Sebago merchandise as we scoped some rare finds in the form of vintage Rolex watches and vintage designer frames from Carrera, Cazal, Christian Dior, Ultra and more.

Victory Motorcycles

Bobbers and hot rod bikes have ridden a wave of resurgence recently. More garage builders are chopping fenders and stripping bikes down to the essentials than ever before in modern interpretations of old themes.Victory Motorcycles, who has established a reputation for itself by changing the perception of what an American V-Twin cruiser should be, seeks to capitalize on this movement as it draws upon styling cues of the past for its 2012 Victory High-Ball.

At the core of the 2012 High-Ball is a Victory Vegas, one of Victory's best-selling bikes. The High-Ball's basic architecture comes straight from the Vegas DNA – a raised spine that runs the length of the bike down the middle of the tank and fenders along with a Victory Freedom 106/6 Stage 2 V-Twin. But that’s where the similarities end.

The 2012 Victory High-Ball features high-rise handlebars, a chopped front fender, smaller, chunkier spoked-down wheels with whitewalls and the blacked-out treatment. Cool thing about the bars is that they can be quickly adjusted with simple hand tools to a lower, more “laid-back” position. Victory ensures us that this won’t affect the control mounts and that the cables reach fine in either position.

The iPhone SLR Mount. Yes, it's really real.

Ever since the iPhone camera was invented, it's aspired to be what it simply never quite could be: a DSLR. Sure, apps have helped your camera phone inch forward with simulated focusing and faux filters.

Faux no more. The iPhone SLR Mount gives you the real thing. It'll set your phone photos apart from everyone else's on Instagram in an unprecedented way (#nofilter)!

This case-adapter combo lets you mount your Canon EOS or Nikon SLR lenses to your iPhone 4 giving your phone powerful depth of field and manual focus.

Telephoto, wide angle, macro, or your fixed-fifty lenses all attach to this mount giving you a full range of lenses at your iPhone lovin' fingertips. Heck, you could even throw on a Diana adapter!

Plus, you'll be putting the SLR lenses you already have to use with the camera you always have with you -- your phone.
