Eyewear manufacturer Oliver Peoples mission statement is, “To be the most prestigious & culturally distinctive eyewear brand in the world.” Building off of a twenty year history of eyewear evolution and refinery, Founder and Chief Designer Larry Leight decided that the time was right to re-release a limited amount of the three styles that helped define Oliver Peoples as a brand. Enter Oliver Peoples Vintage, a collection of three frames all known by their original names: The O’Malley, the 1955, and the OP 505, with many including details like a filigreed antique metal temple, contrasting frame front, and a clip-on sunglass option. With the desire to retain the same craftsmanship and integrity of the original, Leight reached out to the original Japanese factory to reproduce this special batch of optics.
