The BR 01 Horizon watch by Bell & Ross

There are only 999 exclusive copies of the newly unveiled BR 01 Horizon watch made by Bell & Ross. This square and uniquely designed timepiece is modeled after many of the components that can be found in the cockpit of an aircraft. The watch is made up of multiple layers of black and gray that give it a subtle military and industrial appeal while a thin white line represents a horizon, tying in the relevance of the name. The BR 01 Horizon combines solid and sturdy materials with sleek style that make for a both rugged and stylish watch.

2012 Porsche Panamera Turbo S and S Hybrid

Let’s start with the near absurdity of a four-door Porsche, on the heels of the ridiculously successful Cayenne, which no Porsche enthusiast thought should be built. The Panamera was never meant to compete with the BMW 7-Series, the Mercedes S-Class or the Audi A8, though comparos almost always include the four in a heated battle and buyers certainly do compare the four. But the Panamera has more spirited driving in mind, along the lines of the Maserati Quattroporte and especially the Aston Martin Rapide. Success from absurdity seems to be Porsche’s new battle cry.

The Panamera has been unbelievably successful in its segment, though it’s hard to say if the success can be attributed to driving dynamics/power or the fact that rich guys who need four doors just love being seen in a Porsche. Admittedly, it’s a tad unseemly with the bulbous greenhouse, but it’s frightful like Posh Spice. You like to look, but you’re not sure why.

Also, choosing between the Panamera S and the S Hybrid is not unlike the difference between wearing a $5,000 wool and cashmere bespoke suit and wearing the same suit with sustainable hemp underpants on. The performance is still pretty astounding for a 4,000+ pound car and practically no-one looking will be able to tell the difference, but you’ll be a tad more environmentally conscious. That should push you in the right direction, eh?

The Panamera Turbo S is clearly the nuttier of the two, though the S Hybrid certainly does not disappoint. For a near anti-matter weight sport luxury sedan to rocket to 60 in barely more than 3 seconds is astounding. It’s the anti-Porsche Porsche, frankly. Four doors, heavy as stink and antithetical to the traditional Porsche mentality, the Panamera is bulbous and frankly not attractive in any apparent way. But the crazy thing is, it works and it works marvelously. It’s so beastly good, it makes you thrilled to offend and the offense is glorious.

Lamborghini Urus Concept SUV at Beijing Auto Show

Italian supercar maker Lamborghini has taken the covers off their latest concept vehicle — Urus — a Spanish breed of bull that sits somewhere between fighting size and hauling size. Though the name hit the rumor mill quite some time ago when the Estoque four door was unveiled, looks like the name is being reserved for Lambo’s SUV of the future. You won’t see it on the streets until 2005 but we’re expecting power and Lamborghini to be put a lid on the carbon emissions in the process. 50 percent of customer deliveries are aimed at the United States so expect this to be one competitive SUV, one that’s owned by some pretty impressive contention — the Range Rover Sport, Porsche Cayenne, as well as the BMW X6 M.

Hercules Magazine Editorial “Worth Fighting For” Spring/Summer 2012

Physical combat might not be the first thing that comes to mind when thinking of formal evening wear, but this new editorial in Hercules magazine could certainly cause enough envy to throw a punch. Pieces from Givenchy, Calvin Klein and the like are expertly juxtaposed against the alluring background of white sands and blue seas by photographer Paola Kudacki. Although these looks put together by stylist Keegan Singh aren’t usually the reccomended looks for the beach, a light blue tux looks great in the seaside sunshine. Just wear with my caution – you might have to get into a fight over it.

Impossible Project SX-70 Black Label Camera Kit

Instead of everyone hovering around a small LCD screen to see how they look in the latest snapshot, there was a day when partygoers waited for the picture-taker to finish shaking out the image on a Polaroid. Louis Vuitton Made to Order Shoes

louis vuitton made to order 1 Louis Vuitton Made to Order Shoes

A pair of new shoes can make you feel like a whole new man, so imagine how a pair of new made-to-order shoes would make you feel? Now imagine those shoes were made just for your feet by Louis Vuitton. Now imagine a 30-foot unicorn standing high above you, shooting a rainbow of gummy bears out of each nostril. Now go back to the shoes.

Made To Order is indeed a new service from Louis Vuitton that allows you to create your own personal pair of shoes. “You choose the shape, the material, the finish, everything to invent the shoe that corresponds precisely to your tastes and desires,” the brand informs. “Three thousand possible combinations for the ultimate in luxury.” The shoes are hand-crafted in a Venetian workshop—”the cradle of this savoir-faire since the 13th century”—and are probably worth more than you’ll pay for them.
